Linux image restore via restore cd

Restore Linux images via restore cd. As there are a lot of setup possibilities this would be limited to the most basic setups at first (i.e. not bcache, mdadm, lvm setups etc.) and only one or two (boot fs) file systems on the boot disk.

Please vote for this feature if you’d use this!

I saw 2 posts, i dunno if you can, but maybe it’s better to make a pool to force peoples to vote for one feature or another.

Voting for this one, because it seems to be the more flexible.
If you give me a a boot cd i think i ll hack around to get it working on the other scenario, and i think that s an operation i ll need more often.

As long as I have the image backup I’m happy to restore it manually.
