Command line restore of linux image backups. That is to restore a image backup you would need to install the client and then restore the appropriate image via command line.
One can even restore to the boot volume with a few tricks, but if the restore process is interrupted booting would fail. This would be something to use with cloud providers where you can easily start off with a working and installed system.
