I had some problems with your questions as I would need to know more about your configuration to give better answers but I gave them a try.
In general I suggest you look at the Administration Manual and Frequently asked questions and browse the forum for similar problem to your own. There is also a Wiki.
There is a post on how to post problems. Many questions need no logs but a description of the environment is useful.
