I’m not familiar enough with some of the fancy filesystem overlapping and such (SquashFS and such) to make a judgment on how I might make persistent modifications to the UrBackup Bootable USB restore image.
What I want to do is …
I want to embed (for example) remote support tools into the package so I can assist clients with restores.
How can I do this so the settings STICK?
Is the USB already very malleable already and I can just make edits or does each boot-up get loaded into RAM and no changes can be made?
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!
I’m familiar with Linux and such, but I want to know more specifically how someone else would go about this.
