Backup error: folder already exists and metadata failure

Hi, I have:

  • UrBackup server 2.1.19 running on Slackware64 14.2, storage EXT4
  • UrBackup client 2.1.14 running on Slackware 14.0, storage EXT4

I’m experiencing problem with incremental backup and I’m getting these messages:
WARNING: Directory “/mnt/hd/urbackup/uam/170326-1200/archivi/repertori/02/25/95/old” does already exist.
WARNING: Directory “/mnt/hd/urbackup/uam/170326-1200/.hashes/archivi/repertori/02/25/95/old” does already exist. - File exists (code: 17)
ERROR: Writing directory metadata to “/mnt/hd/urbackup/uam/170326-1200/.hashes/archivi/repertori/02/25/95/old/.dir_metadata” failed.

The same problem with the same messages are happening on 2 different Linux clients (same client version, same OS, same filesystem).

I see this previous discussion, but xylems have not answered uroni questions:

Can you help me?

Have exactly the same issue, started today. It only affects backing up certain clients, not sure what to do :frowning:

same here.
