Hi, somehow my server keeps crashing with fatal exceptions. I don´t really know why, as I have not touched it in months and it has been working fine for years. But a few days ago it started failing. I have like 30 clients (many family and friends) and most of them backup via wan. I don’t have a problem nukin the backup sets, but I would like to avoid having to reconfigure the clients, or the server, etc.
Is there any way I could do that? any specific db file that i could keep/destroy to get to that state?
I was just trying to spare you the troubleshooting

I gave it one more shot today. It’s a windows enviroment, I’ve tried running all the usual .bats (cleanup, cleanup_database, remove_unknown, repair_database) but they all give an error at some point.
Now it stopped crashing, but it starts making “many” backups, only one actaully progresses, and but eventaully it just gets stuck, like in the screen (it’s been 8 hours that it’s stayed like this).
The UI works just fine, I can traverse it with no issues, but nothing seems to be actually happening on the backend after a while
.
I’ll upload the dump and logs to see if you can spot what’s causing the issues. But as I said, I have no problem losing the backups themselves if I can keep the clients, their configs, auth keys, etc.
That error in the logs baffled me when I saw them. The backup location is R:\folder and the temp path is R:\urbakcup_temp, so I have no idea where the U: volume came from. The server only has a small C drive and a 14TB R: drive, no other volumes or disks.
Hi again. Well, given that it keeps stalling now, I’ll bite the bullet and delete everything and start from scratch. It will be faster that way than trying to get to the reason behind the problem. Thanks anyway.
