On windows 10 I can start multiple instances of urbackup client. That’s probably not good.
Is this by design or it’s a chance to improve backup service?
At start agent should check if it’s already running.
This will do this regardless of Windows version - confirmed on Windows 7.
I agree that it would be great if it prevented a second instance from running, but a current fix for it is to just restart the service or closing the instance - depending on your client settings.
Also, I don’t think it is by design, and it has no noticeable effect on backing up - if anything, I would think it would hamper it.
