Windows Registry Restore

Hi,

I’ve just setup a Windows-UrBackup Server and some Windows Clients.
I’ve activated component backup of the Registry in my Client Backup Settings. Just for testing I deleted some entries in the registry and tried to restore them on the Client:
Show Backups/Restore, navigated to 00000000_Registry, Folders inside are not accessible from the client. So I did “restore” on the 00000000_Registry-Entry. The Restore ends with a message “restore successfully”, but the deleted entries of the registry did not yet show up. So I rebooted and got a bluescreen
What is the correct way to restore the windows registry?
Would’nt it be nicer to have an option to download the binary files here for import to the registry? Or even more better to have an additional option to download Text-.reg-Files, for just importing parts of the backed up registry?

regards,
Christian

ok, the binary download seems possible if I not using my IIS Reverse Proxy and reverting to port 55414. That seems to be another problem.
But the restore over port 55414 also results in a broken windows booting into blue screen.
