running server on truenas scale and have both windows (11) and Linux (debian) Clients for which i run both Image (for bare metal restores) and file backups. Linux settings are no problem - for the windows Client file backups however I get lots of errors of this type: Error getting complete file “QquFFLIJbUVCbbkcgti3|C/Users/win8cdvreede/Local Settings/Google/Chrome/User Data/Safe Browsing/UrlMalware.store.4_13426645666127940” from OfficePC. Errorcode: CANNOT_OPEN_FILE (3)
I’m using the Client settings that I downloaded from my server which has all kind of file backup excludes which should have prevented these kind of conflicts through excluding them?? Are they maybe best practice Client settings that exclude stuff I don’t really need to backup separately from the image backup - thinking that I use the file backups only for file/folder restores of user data and use image backups to restore the system disk as needed and subsequently restore user files from the file backup??
