Using Client 1.5(dev) with server 1.48

Has anyone tried connect a 1.5(dev) client to a 1.48 server? The client does not seem to find the server for me. Do the client and server versions need to be the same?

Ok - i got cleint 1.5 to connect to server 1.5 and backup which is good. But when i try to do a restore The restore client sees the backups but i get Version is wrong error and it stops. Any ideas on how to get around this?

Ok - i found restore disk 1.2wip and was able to see the backups on the server. Now when i do a restore i get the error Block count has changed - not supported. Any ideas why?

That’s a bug in the GPT restore. Will need to rebuild the restore disk to fix that.

Will you be doing this soon? Or is it something i can do?
