Using CIFS mounted directory as Backup directory

Has anyone tried using a mounted share as Backup directory for urBackup?

I think some successfully do it.

Let me know if you get this working.

I’ve mounted /media/share and have the docker volume /backup linked with my cifs mount to my NAS

It doesn’t work

That was before UrBackup supported symlinks. Nowadays it’s problematic because samba doesn’t support windows symlinks.
