Use port 80 instead of 55415

Hi,
I’m trying to set port 80 to use for internet backups instead of 55415 to bypass possible limitations from isp \ firewall when, but once set the server does not respond on 80 once changed (telnet localhost 80 … Trying 127.0. 0.1 … telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused).
The installation is last stable ubuntu server.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
There are limitations on this port?

Thanks best regards
Andrea

nginx or apache

Hi,
is it necessary to install a proxy server?

thanks

Andrea

You could leave it on port 55415 and forward port 80 to 55415 via your router instead…
