Several times already I’ve got the problem, that an urbackupclient can’t connect. Unfortunately the information which urbackupclientctl status returns is absolutely unusable:
“internet_status”: “connecting_failed”
It’s correct. But doesn’t tell me anything I don’t know already. The only way to get proper error messages seems to be:
urbackupclientbackend -v debug
Which is annoying since I always forget that, and always loose a lot of time until I remember it.
(And even then, a lot of times the failure messages are just cryptic).
