Urbackup Server with UrBackup Client for Microsoft Hyper-V issue

Hi
I’m currently running UrBackup server 2.5.26 (on debian).
There are 2 servers (Hyper-v 2019) with UrBackup Client for Microsoft Hyper-V 2.x installed.
on one of them is trial - second one is licensed one (and this one works ok but “he” was first

Licensed one is visible in web console and all his vm’s are there and backuping ok.
second one (trial) is also visible there but Vm’s are not there :frowning:

Right now im not sure what is going on - is there any limit that on one urbackup server there can be only 1 urbackup client for m$ hyperv ?
all vm’s are on version 9.

Could be an issue with 2.5.x compatibility. Will look into this.

ok thanks  right now im not sure - should i downgrade or not ? is it possible at all ?

any update ? we want to buy another license but right now its not working as it should :frowning:

Experiencing this issue as well.
Applied a trial license (as the only hyper-v server), but the VM’s are not being added.

  • client:
    – agent version 2.2.20-hyperv
    – OS: Windows Server 2022
  • server:
    – version 2.5.26
    – Debian 11 Bullseye

I am experiencing this as well on licensed systems. They show all Hyper-V vms as offline after upgrade to server version 2.5.26.

upgraded to v2.5.27, but the issue persists.

Have you been able to look into this?
Thank you

Hi!

Any news on that issue?

Am working on this. It’s not a quick fix to do it properly unfortunately and will require some testing before release. I’d advise not upgrading the server and use 2.4.x till the new version is ready.

is there any ETA when it could be fixed ?
