tufaijaved, why not to use repo: http://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home%3Akot1grun&package=urbackup-client-nogui ?
Concerning your build you’ve missed cryptopp package. Install it with

yum -y install cryptopp cryptopp-devel

You have to enable EPEL repo.

Thanks for the reply,
I already done these step but no luck.

please find the error log.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

Please, provide:

cat /etc/redhat-release
yum repolist

Also, how did you install package? Did you add repo or simple rpm -ivh url ?

Please advise me.

Continuing the discussion from Urbackup client software for Redhat compatibility:

So, you try to use packages for RHEL 7 on RHEL 5. It is not possible. Try package for RHEL 6, but I can’t guarantee it will work. I’ll try to build client for RHEL 5 and publish elsewhere as OBS does not support this distrib version.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,
I tried RHEL 6, as well that one also not working. Please let me know if build for RHEL 5, or any other way to install urbackup client installation on RHEL 5. Let me know.

Thanks
Happy New Year…

hi any update dear . Please assist me on this issue .

Thanks

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I too have a need for the client on a RHEL 5 server, and was wondering if this is available anywhere.

I am also interested in a client for RHEL 5.

Thanks!
