Upgrading from 2.3.8 to 2.4.9

OS: Debian Buster
Client: UrBackup Client 2.2.18-hyperv.exe

Should I upgrade, and if so, how should I proceed? I didn’t see anything in the admin guide https://www.urbackup.org/ServerAdminGuide-v2.2.pdf about upgrading. I might have bad search skills, but I didn’t see anything on the forum either. Thanks. Also, “trial” is spelled “trail” on the commercial page. https://www.urbackup.org/commercial.html#client_hyperv_2016

I think you meant to say “trial”, so that is why I posted.

Info is here now: https://www.urbackup.org/update_server.html

So no special upgrade instructions… just install the new version over the old one.

Backing up the databases beforehand (like described in 1.4.x -> 2.0.x) might be a good idea if you are paranoid. That way you can go back to the previous version without problems. But per default it creates backups of the database nightly anyway.
