UI wording suggestion: "Monthly Internet Traffic Limit (GB)"

Hello,

I would like to suggest a wording improvement for one of the Internet client settings.

Current text:

“Do not start file backups if current estimated data usage for the month exceeds this value”

While technically correct, I think it is difficult for users to immediately understand that this setting is essentially a monthly Internet traffic limit.

Suggested label:

“Monthly Internet Traffic Limit (GB)”

Optional description:

“File backups will not start if the estimated monthly Internet traffic exceeds this limit.”

I believe this wording is shorter and easier for administrators to understand at first glance.

That setting isn’t a traffic counter. For Internet clients, the server estimates the monthly data plan limit of the client’s connection, either from its hostname (known mobile carriers) or as 1 GB if the client reports a metered connection. If that plan limit is below the value you enter, file backups don’t start. So it’s meant to keep backups off metered connections like phone hotspots, and “Monthly Internet traffic limit” would describe something it doesn’t do.
