while doing a backup job that is going to failed because of we have getting on logs “Creating symlink at
“\192.168.x.x\backup\urbackup\192.168.x.xx\180205-1332\Documents\My
Music” to “.symlink_Music” failed. The file or directory is not a
reparse point. (errorcode=4390)”

and seems error on dashboard of urbackup webinterface as attached screenshot kindly find attached

I don’t think this error message can be better and you are probably using exactly the kind of NAS described in the error message.

For anyone else facing this issue, a good workaround is to use ISCSI storage targets instead of SMB Shares. There’s a very good writeup on how to setup an ISCSI target via TrueNas. You should also be able to migrate your current backups from SMB to ISCSI following the documentation.
