The directory where UrBackup will save temporary files is inaccessible

I’ve just installed a new urBackup server on CentOS 6. The WebUI complains on the status page:

The directory where UrBackup will save temporary files is inaccessible. Please fix that by modifying this folder in ‘Settings’ or by giving UrBackup rights to access this directory.

I’m not sure exactly what setting or directory this is; I’ve set the Backup Storage Path to /srv/urbackup which is it’s own mountpoint, and backups are running OK. Both of the “Temporary Files as buffers” options are disabled.

It cannot create a temporary file at TMPDIR or /tmp . Probably works, because you don’t have the “temporary files as buffers” enabled.

Sorry for the horribly late reply. This host has been offline since Christmas and only got a chance to drive 4hrs to bring it back over the weekend!

You’re right; enabling “temporary files as buffers” solved the issue

I got the same problem, but trick Temporary files as file backup buffer and Temporary files as image backup buffer, the error still show “The directory where UrBackup will save temporary files is inaccessible
