Test email successful, but no other emails being sent

Anyone else experience this issue? My email settings result in a successful test email being delivered, but no additional emails are being generated by UrBackup. I have checked spam and can’t find any evidence that the server is initiating emails of any kind.

Perhaps there is a log file to check for clues? Or other ideas?

Which kinds of mails have you configured it to send?

Sorry… should have included that in my original post. In the Reports
section, I have it configured to:

Send reports to “xxx@gmail.com
Send “All” Backups with a log message of at least log level “Info”.

Not sure why the test email succeeds but the report emails don’t… they
are pointed to the same email address.

Problem solved. In addition to the email address indicated in the Reports
area, I had also added the username of a user I created for the UrBackup
server. Since there is no way to associate an email address with a UrBackup
user, I guess the email process just failed when it got to that entry (it
was listed first) and never made it to the second entry which contained my
email address.

Thanks @uroni for asking about the Reports setup… that helped me identify
the issue.
