Stuck Starting up client

I have a strange issue.
I just deployed new infrastructure and All the clients are stuck in “Starting up client” status.
I can’t initiate backups, all permissions for client are allowed.
The debug logs are completely empty.

I’ve tried:

  • Removing and reinstalling clients
  • Disabling firewall entirely
  • Using clients generated from the server

I resolved my issue.

The server’s backup folder was mounted as CIFS, I learned that that isn’t supported.
Remounted as NFS and adjusted some permissions and boom, worked like a charm.
