SOLVED: Server 2.0.30/2.0.29 Client (Win10) - "Backup had an early error,"

I just upgraded from 1.4.x server to 2.0.30 on FreeNAS (FreeBSD) and upgraded to 2.0.29 on a Windows 10 client. The web interface shows the client as Online=Yes, but the client does not appear to see the server. Server and client are on the same LAN.

I tried forcing a full file backup from the server but got the following errors.

Backup had an early error. Deleting partial backup.

I have tried rebooting the client and reinstalling the client application, but I’m not sure what I could try next. Any ideas?

Well, I’m not sure what changed, but a few hours after I posted the above issue, the client was successfully backed up and is now showing connection to the server unlike before. Marking this one solved.
