I just want to know if I do a no interaction client install to a remote location for internet backup should the server automaticlly find the PC or do I always have to manually add it?
You have to configure the server name/IP and client password. Otherwise a client cannot connect via internet. See http://www.urbackup.org/Administration_Manual.php#x1-200006.2
I’m working on a solution, where the clients can login and download a preconfigured client.
Question is there any way to script this until the pre-configured client come’s out?
Sure, it’s just not that easy, I guess. You need to change the settings in C:\Program Files\UrBackup\urbackup\data\settings.cfg
