Server broadcast error

Hi

Server log is spamming the following lines. Backups are still being able to be run, tried searching and nothing came up.

2016-04-01 15:08:00: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:08:50: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:09:41: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:10:31: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:11:21: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:12:11: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:13:02: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!
2016-04-01 15:13:53: ERROR: Sending broadcast failed!

Unless it is preventing backups or causing issues, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I just installed am still getting this issue. Any solution? This causes that LAN clients cannot find the server…

i have a same issue.

Are you running the server under Windows? If so have you tried opening the server broadcast port explicitly in the firewall rules? (You have to visit the advanced settings to try that you’ll want to try allowing UDP on port 35623)

Section 10.3 in the administration handbook gives all the ports and protocols used if you want to cover all bases that way.

Or you might try removing & re-adding the UrBackup server in the firewall.

im running under ubuntu server 16.04 LTS, trying this port enable i think its enough…
