Seeding initial backups?

Is there a way to seed initial internet backups? I have a 2TB user that wants to backup to us over the internet and it would be beneficial to copy the data and load it onto our server before doing incrementals over the internet.

If you backup the same files with another client (which can be local or on the same server). It won’t load identical files from the client if client side hash calculation is enabled.

What @uroni said. Copy those files to an external hard drive and then back them up from a machine on your local network. Then your first backup will only transfer across the internet the files that have changed since the files were copied to the drive for transport.

Thanks @uroni sometimes I don’t think of simple things like this . Make complete sense when it is in my face.
