Hello! I have used urBackup for last 5 years for my self and for some my small companies regular and Hyper-V backups. Some times I have issues, and most of them related to storage. It can be significant step forward if possible to implement this ability to perform backups directly to s3 compatible storage like MiniIO from clients. Then control processes from urBackup Server. Steps:

  1. implement connectivity settings with specific Bucket;
  2. use this Bucket as default storage;
  3. (optional) extend settings to be able add alternative storage;
  4. add functionality to client and recovery media;
  5. add features on server.
