I have a number of customers who are using external drives (plugged in to the backup server via USB) or NAS devices that all have the same static IP address (ex: all NAS devices are smb/cifs://192.168.1.242/share, for example).
Is there a way to store the UrBackup client configuration somewhere OTHER than the backup drives so rotation can occur? If so, I’d like to make that change. If not, I’d like to script a way to clone the client configuration directory to a static location and update it hourly to the external drive.
Thoughts?
