Restoring image from HDD can't get it

Hello, i am trying to figure out the best way to restore a image from a HDD and cant get it…
I have urbackup to do backups over internet and this part is doing fine without a hiss, but if i need to restore a image i am in trouble because i tried to configure over internet and wont detect server address even with ports opened.
Either way this is not the preferable way since images can be big (some machines about 160GB) and the preferable way is to copy image folder to external HDD, plug in on server with new HDD and thru Restore CD detect the image and starts restoring it…
Is there a more simple way to achieve this ?

I alredy saw that thread and tried but faild to get windows to boot on 3 separate backups and drives. It would be nice to have an easier interface…
