I have a HDD with 4 partitions. I just wanted to make backup for the “System Partition” it was done perfect it has the whole data inside (I checked it with Hiren´s Boot and Ubuntu Live CD) the issue came with the “Windows Boot Partittion” the famous 100mb or 300mb partition depending what windows you´re using. I have no choice to back up this essential partition unless I assign for it a letter like “D” or “E” in Windows and it nos suppose that a regular user should do that.
Version in the server: 2.0.36
Version in the client: 2.0.34
The sysvol is automatically backed up if you backup the “C” volume. Does that not work?
No, is no working. Even I realized that I got the whole partition table including those ones that I did´t save. I eliminated them with Parted Magic fixing that way the partition table errors was showing. I left only the 100mb partition and the system partition and nothing. It was MBR not GPT. I can still have access to the system partition from the LiveCD but the 100mb it´s empty at all and of course the system is not loading.
Thnaks in advance as always and you´re doing a GOOD JOB
Can you run C:\Program Files\UrBackup\sysvol_test.exe
as administrator and post the output?
yes sure, give me a minute please
