Restore Windows image from a live linux without the official restore CD

Hello,

we have some Windows VPS hosted remotely where we not have the possibility to mount a custom iso.
So we cannot start an image restore using the Restore CD from UrBackup.

There is any guide to restore from a live linux (like ubuntu or centos) without using the ISO?

Otherwise the restore cd and build instruction for the restore clients are at https://github.com/uroni/urbackup_restore_cd . That has e.g. package lists that need to be installed.

If you manage to make it work putting it on a wiki page or something would be great :slight_smile:
