Restore problem

Hello,

i today setup a windows 7 machine with the urbackup client. This machine is a vm, created with vmware.
I also setup a linux machine as server, also as vm.
After i created a image from the win7 machine, i setup up a empty tmplate for a new vm, and attach a empty disk with same size as source amchine.
I boot from the restore cd and everything seems to be okay, i could chose the backup and after select the restore begins.
Creating disk / mbr so on. But after 1% i get a message that disapears after one second, i believe that it says “error invalid seek”.

What does it mean? Is there somthing wrong with the things i did, or is the image damaged?

Hi again,

i try to attach the vhd file i created during image backup to a window 7 machine.
But this fails with a failure messsage say “file corrupt”.
Okay, so it seems that my image is damaged. I create a new one, but get same error.
So what could be the reason, that i could not create a vaild vhd file.
The source machine is a fresh windows 7 installation, without any additional software, accept the urbackup client.
