Im using the CD to restore a partition backup but my network card isn’t supported…
I’d strongly suggest releasing a newer version version of the restore CD soon that supports much more network devices (wired and wireless) because many laptops nowadays are ultrabooks and don’t come with an ethernet port.
Also, the restore process seems to fail if left unattended because the system goes on sleep!! Weird…

Linux supports some wireless cards and for some it needs firmware (some firmware is included) and some need extra drivers and some don’t work.
What kind of wireless card model is in your laptop?
You are right. I should probably look more into it to get it working although I might lack the time.
Anyhow, here’s the card built in: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
The restore cd uses kernel 3.2 (debian stable). The driver for your wireless card is included since 3.10 and needs additional firmware.
