Currently the restore USB stick leaks of an automated procedure to perform a fully system restore from local disk. I do have a suggestion in order to complete this step. What if the USB restore image include a urbackup server?
This is the scenario:
-We have a working machine with incremental and full backup on a dedicated disk.
-Something goes wrong and we need to replace the system HD with a new one.
-At this point we have a dedicated disk with system and file backup to restore but no OS and no urbackup server installed in the new HD.
-If we have urbackup server in the USB stick then in some way could be possible to attach the external disk, load the existing backup on urbackup and perform a system restore.
Do you think that this will work?
