I am trying to backup a VM in ESXi 6 and the backup completes successfully. I tried to run a restore using the latest urbackup restore CD. The restore gets all the way to 100% and says failed to write to disk. Any suggestions on how to get this to complete successfully?
What is the exact error message?
Following error happened:: Writing the hard disk failed. How to continue?

sda: p2 size 209506304 extends beyond EOD, trunscated
Does this mean my backup is larger than the hard drive?
Yes, your disk is too small.
Sorry for the time waster, my VM has an odd partition size of the disk 100.03027344 and my new one I made 100.
Doh!
One more quick question. Since I am using VM’s, if my whole server was to crash and burn, is there any way to see what the minimal size of the disk needs to be somehow in UrBackup since I wouldn’t know the exact number like the example above?
