Having used BackupPC since a decade and other solutions before that, we have recently also adopted UrBackup at my business. The need for two different solutions and a need to scale out better prompted me to evaluate the available options again, though. This, and the recently released BackupPC version 4, inspired me to jot things down, drawing ideas from both the BackupPC and UrBackup way of doing things.
