I’m currently using UrBackup 2.5.35 on a Windows Server 2019 Standard. My client is a Hyper-V host running Windows Server 2019 Datacenter, with VMs running the same OS.
The normal image backups are working perfectly, but I’m trying to set up an interval now. I’ve tried several options and I think I’m just not seeing the problem — there are no logs, no errors; I believe it’s just a setup issue, but I’m not sure.
The thinking behind my backup strategy is to secure the VMs daily, since they hold the actual valuable data, while the host only needs a weekly backup — a fresh host can be set up in about 10 minutes.
I’ve had this setup running for two weeks and tried changing some settings, but nothing helped. As I said, there are no errors and nothing in the logs.
