Option to limit retries when client goes offline

I have “Max simultaneous backups = 4”

Sometimes a client will offline before backup starts. They will continue to use a backup slot while throwing “Failed to connect to client. Retrying in 10s”.
I’d like an option to limit how many times the server retries. 2 or 3 times should be sufficient to figure out the client is off and clear the slot.

The only time ive had clients go offline if there on the LAN is due to firewall issues on the client. If they are outside on WAN that can be a connection issue down to your ISP not liking a data stream.

Are these LAN or WAN based clients (Windows?)

It’s due to the client going to sleep/shut down.
