Open raw files over samba from windows client

Hi,

i try to backup a hyper-v server with the special hyper-v client.
Since there is a new refs volume which is currently not supported from linux I need to mount it via samba.
In the old format it was just a vhd and it is mentioned in the doku how to mount it, but since I got btrfs on the server urbackup generates raw files, which I can’t mount.
Is there a trick to mount it directly from the raw file whitout restoring the entire volume ?

Greetings

You could share the file via iSCSI (e.g. via tgt), then open it on a Windows (that one has an iSCSI client build in).
