Offload restore time only to client

Hi Martin,

during a discussion round today the question came up if it would be possible to trigger the restore only from the client, thus meaning we want to disable the restore triggered by the server completely.

The intention behind this is, that we don’t want to slow down the client machines if we trigger a backup at a specific point of time. We can also not make sure that a specific point of time/date a machine is available in our network since we widely use laptops.

Is this possible yet?

Do you mean the backup time?

If yes, setting the incremental and full backup interval to -1 (or any negative number) should do that.
