We are backing up our customers devices using full image backup. This works great.
Is there anyway to attach the VHDZ file to hyper v or virtual box to boot up the image?
I have tried the uncompress.bat but when I attach the image file it will not boot in virtual box
Im stuck.

You need solution to do P2V preparation if you trying to start image on different hardware or hypervisor type (drivers cleanup and addition, boot order and settings). For example this functionality included in Paragon Partition Manager and works perfect for me. Try to use VMWare or Hyper-V. Also you can find much VHDZ workaround on this forum and administration manual. If use Recovery CD after image recover process completed, you able to use p2v feature too.
