I tried searching here but couldn’t find an article already about this.
I’ve got UrBackup setup to take backups of my MySQL 5.7.33 server on a Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS using Percona.
The backups themselves seem to continually be stored in this location, even after the backups complete:
/var/lib/mariadbbackup
This location takes up 202.1 GB currently while the DB location only takes up 46.6 GB.
Should this location not be emptied after a successful backup?
Should it really be the cause of my disk space being used up this much?
Please help, don’t know anything about Percona.
