hello,

I configured with the ‘/’ trick to use multiple buckets in S3 storage.It doesn’t work. only the first bucket is used. how to make sure they are all used.

I sent a report from my appliance. case id is #142

Yeah, like I said in the other thread:

There is a trick to use multiple buckets (this is not well tested so avoid if possible). You can enter multiple bucket names like bucket1/bucket2 (separated by / ) and it will write to the first bucket ( bucket1 in the example) while still reading/deleting from all of them.

There is currently a version in testing which properly shards between the buckets, so this’ll be available soon.

I have a question. I saw an update (9.19) on the multi bucket fix. My settings (9.15) are with multi bucket but only the first one is used and the others are empty.
If I do an update, will my configuration be applied correctly?

Sorry! You can access the functionality by adding a __SHARD__/ prefix to the bucket configuration.

So __SHARD__/bucket1/bucket2.

And please keep a backup of the cloud drive encryption key, just in case.
