Linux-client mixed snapshot setup

Hi People,
is it possible to configure a mixed snapshot setup on a linux client with dattobd on / und lvm on /different/mountpoint?
Background: My hoster do not set up VMs with lvm on /. Dattobd works on root, but not on additional volume (to slow, needs days for indexing 200GB data with dattobd…)

Solved by myself. Coverted root partition to lvm2 with gparted.

But it would be interesting to find out why is dattobd so slow…
