On the server side I’m using Ubuntu 20.04 with ZFS and (3) 4tb drives in a raid z1. The issue is that even if I set Urbackup to only use 60% of the drives it just keeps filling the drives. I have to go in and run “urbackupsrv remove-unknown” and then it deletes all file backups… and server has to start all new file backups. What am I doing wrong here… It has to be something I have set wrong, but I’ve combed the forum over and I just dont see where I have anything set wrong. Has anyone else experienced this?
I think I might have found something… does Urbackup REQUIRE dedup? I wasnt running it because of the amount of overhead required, but it seems per the admin guide that it’s required…
