Is internet mode best for me?

Despite the documentation explaining what internet mode is, I still don’t quite get it. Is internet mode something I should use? Our backup server (Linux) is operating from another country than our clients (Windows).

Would I benefit from using internet mode?

To my knowledge you use internet mode when you are backing up from multiple networks. I have this setup and it works for me. The backup speed though depends on the location of the client.
