So I have a bit of an odd setup, We have multiple subnets in our network. Server is on one and desktops are on another.
Everything is fully routable with no firewall restrictions between them.
Local client cannot see the backup server yet the remote client outside the network can backup just fine.
what am I missing???
Setup the clients as internet client if they arent reachable via udp broacast (same network)
Most simple is to use pre-configured agent that you get from the status page.
Ok makes sense it’s using broadcast. The desktops and servers are on separate subnets that’s why they aren’t seeing each other.
I’ll do that and let you know how it goes.
