I work with the most recent appliance, kernel 5.10.60-20210825-ge4cb65cf23c7-p4-bis .
The logging to /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog does not work anymore.
For example the the messages log ended with:
“Sep 13 00:00:29 ubr1 rsyslogd: [origin software=“rsyslogd” swVersion=“8.1901.0” x-pid=“1215” x-info=“https://www.rsyslog.com”] rsyslogd was HUPed”
When I issue “service rsyslog restart” the logging works again until the next reboot or start up.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
