I know I can delete a file in a Urbackup backup directly from Windows Explorer, but, because of all the symlinking, I’m not entirely clear on where. Do I just open the “current” symlink, find the file or directory I’m looking to remove, and delete that? Or do I need to do a search of some kind?
I’m asking because I backup a lot of huge media files as part of a Urbackup File Backup, some of which become irrelevant over time. Rather than deleting an entire backup file, I want to cherry-pick certain individual files or directories to remove from all the fulls, incrementals, and archives since I know I’ll never need those particular files again while still preserving the rest of the files in the backup.
