Improved Configuration Options for Image Backup

Currently What happens for Windows Clients with regard to EFI boot and System Reserved or Recovery partitions is far from clear If a user wants to specify for instance C: & exclude a volume such as D: possibly on another drive.

It would also be very nice if you could specify explicitly volumes not currently assigned a letter including as examples:

  1. OEM utility partitions
  2. OEM Recovery partitions
  3. Partitions associated with other installations (Windows or Linux)
  4. Volumes mounted in a folder rather than assigned a letter (Supported by Windows since at least Win2000)
  5. Encrypted partitions not currently mounted

In the case of file systems windows can’t read, dropping to a sector-by-sector copy including free space as other programs do would be acceptable.
