Image Present, Recover CD does not list it

Hi Everyone,

I’ve got here a lot of Image backups, urBackup says on ist web Interface the backups are there, I checked the file System the backups are present.

When I start the cd, it lists available Computer names, I only get 6 instead of 50 that I have.

Is there a way to fix this ?

Please help.

ps. : and I get an error if I try to select any of the 6 which are displayed…seems like the list got corrupted somehow…

Hi I just did a repair database with , start_urbackup_server --repair_database it completed succesfully…
but still when I fire up the repair cd, it only lists 6 Hosts…and None of them are accessable… in
the urbackup Folders for Computers I see everywhere the Image files…

Please help!

I have manually mounted the urbackup via sshfs and used urbackup Client restore from the Server, it worked
But I dont know what can I do to get the wizzard Show the current list of Computers … what very strange is…
it is not asking for Username Password at all…it is scanning for Servers… then it finds something lists 6 results and done…

If I remove the Network cable… then it is asking for username and Password…

I think you have a second backup server running which it is picking up (which has no username/password configured). It is a little bit messy at that.

And that it does ask for username and password if it cannot find a server, that is a bug. I’ll fix that.

Hello,

I dont have any other urbackup Server. Only one. I have right now Server 1.4.8 which so far works flawlesly.
But Recovery CD 1.1.1 still lists a few Clients only. What is very strange it does not ask for username Password.

I dont know how can I help you here further, is there any log file I could send you, or some command to manually Trigger a Login promt on the urbackup restore cd ?

Greetings
Robert

SOLVED .

You were right all along, I totaly forgot about the test unconfigured Server on my own Windows 7 Computer …

I removed it. THe CD asked for username and Password now… and I have the full list.

Would it be possible in the future to tell the boot cd to use specific IP instead of scanning ?

This scanning is really cool and all. But sometimes an override would be good.
